I am Dr. Michael Schwartz. I went to college in upstate Wisconsin and survived that in Appleton Lawrence University, “Go Vikings” and then medical school at Loyola University in Chicago. I then came out to California where I trained at USC Los Angeles County Hospital in internal medicine initially followed by general surgery followed by head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery. I then did a fellowship in Chicago at the University of Illinois in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. I love doing cosmetic surgery as well as plastic and reconstructive surgery. It enables me to help people. I love to see people’s reactions to successful surgery, whether it is functional or cosmetic, whether it is reconstructive or cosmetic, and it gives me a lot of joy and pleasure to see people happy after their procedures.
