Mini Facelift — Pasadena and Los Angeles (Midface Lift)

The midface, which refers to the cheeks and area outside the nasolabial folds, often sags and creates deep folds around the mouth. This area can be lifted with a simple procedure that suspends the fat compartment and skin using a remarkable new device called the ENDOTINE Midface™ .

The ENDOTINE Midface™ is a small strap connected to a fixation device the size of a dime. With this strap, Dr. Schwartz can selectively lift and reposition the tissues of the midface through a small incision behind the hairline above the ear. Over a six-month period the ENDOTINE Midface™ slowly dissolves, leaving the repositioned tissue healed in its new location. Discomfort is minimal following the mini facelift. Necklift

In addition to the mini facelift, Dr. Schwartz also performs necklift surgery for Los Angeles area patients. Often, the neck skin and muscle are loose, but the rest of the face still has a youthful appearance. The neck can be tightened remarkably to restore a youthful neck and jawline.

A necklift is performed by suctioning fat in the neck, suturing the neck platysma muscle to re-establish lost elasticity, and tightening and trimming excess skin. The procedure is performed through a small incision under the chin and another small incision on either side behind the ear.
